Max Le Verrier was born on January 29, 1891, in Neuilly-sur-Seine. He opened his studio in 1919 and won a medal at the famed 1925 Exposition in Paris that gave Art Deco its name. Later, he established a foundry that cast bronze sculptures for Pierre Le Faguays and Marcel Bourain, among others. Although Le Verrier experimented with other alloys.
