Chicken Island is a part of Thale Waek (Separated Sea). How to reach Koh Poda You can reach Koh Poda by boat from Ao Nang Beach or Railay Beach in Krabi. It takes a pleasant boat trip of about 25 minutes from Ao Nang beach to Koh Poda. Despite the short distance, once you arrive on Koh Poda, you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.

To be honest, I didn't think this would happen when we first approached Koh Poda and around 20 long tail boats and speed boats lined the shores of the tiny island.
