The campground on Lake Pamammaroo near Menindee is an absolute gem. We've been there three or four times now and and it's awesome. You have your choice of camping on the lake foreshore or on the banks above the river near the weir. There is water available although it is untreated and not fit for drinking and flushing toilets.

The caravan free camping at the Menindee Lakes Review of Lake Menindee Reviewed 13 July 2018 We had five days free camping at the Menindee Lakes. Self contained is a preference. Fill up your water tanks. The bird life is wonderful. Pelicans a plenty. The day trip into the National Park is great for a drive and picnic. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Menindee Lakes/Copi Hollow has been in my bucket list for decades & finally went here & were not disappointed. Firstly Copi Hollow is a must stay but book ahead. Only about 20 sites for camping /Caravan powered sites that backs immediately onto the Lake. So peaceful, quiet & plenty of room. The caretakers of the park were sensational.
